At Home
With Puppets

This three part video series presented by performers Cezera, Ming and Yvan will take you through a simple step by step process to make a puppet using common items found in the kitchen. Once you have created your puppet,  watch episode two to discover how to move your puppet and then episode three, where we will share some tips on filming a puppet performance to send to a friend or relative.

Depending on what magical puppet you decide to create, you may find that a few simple additional materials will help you construct your puppet:

  • Scissors
  • Glue, sticky tape or glue tack
  • Stick or rod
  • Paper, cardboard or other recyclable materials
  • Pen, pencil, paint or marker
  • String or material

Our Kitchen Puppets are based on the concept of Object Theatre, which is turning everyday items into animated characters that come to life. To find out more about Object Theatre please head HERE.
