At Home
With Puppets

In this three part video series presented by performers Cezera, Ming and Yvan, you will learn all about the wonderful world of Shadow Puppets. In each episode, you will be taken through simple steps to create and devise your own Shadow Puppets from home.

To help with your creation, a few simple additional materials will help you construct your puppet and performance:

  • Scissors
  • A light source, such as a torch
  • Large sheet of paper or blank wall
  • Glue, sticky tape or glue tack
  • Stick or rod
  • Paper, cardboard or other recyclable materials to make your puppet
  • Pen, pencil, paint or marker
  • String or material

Shadow Puppets are an ancient form of storytelling that uses cut out figures and lighting to tell a magical story. To find out more about Shadow Puppets please head HERE.
