Devised and performed by WAAPA's Bachelor of Performing Arts Students

A series of wildly creative and beautifully realised puppetry works inspired by the classic fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty, devised and performed by the final year Performance Making students at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts.

WAAPA Students will work with Spare Parts Puppet Theatre’s Associate Director, Michael Barlow over the course of Semester One to develop their puppetry skills and create this collage of short puppetry works. This magical show of edgy adult puppetry poses questions about suppressed sensuality, vengeance for social exclusion and the occasional murderous instinct!

A night of strange figures, objects and dreams – go to Sleep.

This show was developed as part of Spare Parts’ Tertiary Partnerships program.

Suitable for ages 15+
