WORLD PREMIERE THEATRE SEASON

Drawing inspiration from the award-winning book by Shaun Tan, Rules of Summer is an immersive, interactive, and multi-sensory puppetry work exploring rules and how they affect our relationships and our identity.

You will follow the emotional journey of two boys who experience the importance of closeness and the unspoken rules of friendship. It’s the story of a boy’s rite of passage and his path to understanding the world and his place in it.

You will be part of a sensory world of sight, taste, smell, touch and sound. Bubbles will float through the space, you will make a choice to accept or reject a tasty treat, wind will blow through your hair as a storm erupts – a total sensory experience.

Suitable for ages 5+
