A LITTLE RED
presented by School of Communication and Arts @ Edith Cowan University and Spare Parts Puppet Theatre
Puppetry and Little Red Riding Hood as you have never seen them before.
Leave the kids at home…Spare Parts Puppet Theatre in partnership with the Edith Cowan University’s third year Contemporary Performance students present an exciting evening of adults only puppetry work.
‘A Little Red’ is the result of 10 weeks of puppetry and object theatre exploration… as well as some serious re interpreting, re imagining and researching of that famous cautionary tale – the little red hooded girl who meets a nasty wolf in a dark forest on the way to grandma’s house!
10 performers will present 10 revealing re-visions of this classic tale.
A red tomato, a pair of red shoes, a red dress, a bottle of wine and a bottle of nail polish feature in the cast of objects, puppets and performers.
You are warmly invited to attend this evening of experimentation and entertainment.
Come and enjoy a little red…
