The Bugalugs Bum Thief

Adapted from the book by Tim Winton

Skeeta Anderson wakes up one summer morning to find that part of him is gone, something he never imagined could go missing… his bottom. Quickly he discovers that almost every other backside in the town of Bugalugs has been stolen too! 496 bums is a lot to disappear without a trace. It’s up to Skeeta to catch the thief and return the bums to their rightful owners!

The Bugalugs Bum Thief is a wonderfully silly story from one of Western Australia’s most loved writers – Tim Winton. In 1997 the book won the Young Australian Best Book Award (YABBA), testament to Winton’s delightful storytelling.
